The Ford Mustang GT is a high-performance variant of the iconic Ford Mustang. Powered by a robust V8 engine, it offers powerful acceleration and an exhilarating driving experience. We chose this model as the starting point for serious consideration of a track ready vehicle. Although arguably you could track more basic models, the GT is the first model where the 5.0L engine appears, as well as larger tires, and brake pads along with a number of standard and optional features that clearly demark it as a performance vehicle.
