All that has been said about the M3, aside from its age, applies equally to the M4. Aside from some minor size and balance differences, and all-wheel drive options, there is no real difference between the two cars. Well, that is not entirely true... Most importantly the M4 has two doors, vs. the M3's four doors. This has impacts on driver position, visibility, and of course practicality. Whichever you choose, you will not be disappointed on-track with either. It should be noted that the M4 CSL variant is a different beast altogether, and likely deserves its own page.
